new news

Ok I am sorry its been a while since I have been on, I forgot all about the blog thing! New Stuff: Richard got his orders, he will be leaving for some "town" in iraq between dec. 7th thru 13th... dont know exact date. I know all but grandma and grandpa dont know him, but pray for him because he is the most important person in my life. I dont know where I would be without him... He is an AMAZING man and person in general!!!

We got a new puppy. She is a dauchound and chihuahua mix.. doesnt sound cute but she is :) Her name is Lilly.. kinda original but as wierd as it may sound, it was the only name we could agree on.
Oh Richard got his E4 now, He will be pinned in Dec. sometime before they leave. While he is gone I plan on going to school, keeping as busy as possible, and getting all kinds of stuff paid and start saving for a much needed new vehicle!!
Ok I suppose I am going to call it quites for now! ~ Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas

venting

This blog will probably be more of venting rather then a blog but I need it. OK HERE WE GO...

so our truck (our only vehicle) broke down about 3 wks ago, until monday we werent able to do anything about it because richard was in the field. The day before yesterday we had it towed to a mech. shop so they could hook it up to a diognostic thing and test it. Well they had it all day long and said they couldnt get to it, now keep in mind that I am not happy at all about them not getting to it so I get a bit of an attitude with them... I tell them " You had it all day long, How long does it take to hook it up and test it? (they said about 1.5 hrs.) You should have had it done today, Instead of standing around, why dont you get up and do your job (when we got there, they were all standing around talkin). This is our only vehicle, my husband goes on leave after thursday and there wont be any one working for us to get an aer loan to pay you unless its done by then because we need a quote so we know how much to get." So they proceeded to tell us our truck will be the first one to be looked at in the morning. UGH!

So today (tomorrow) is here and we called after richard gets off work to see what it is because he had not heard anything. they said they hooked it up and it showed nothing so they needed to hook it up to a different test that test's the electrical... they will have to do it tomorrow because they ran out of time. WHAT THE CRAP?? why wasnt this done today after they seen that the diognostics test didnt turn anything up? All they are proving to be is a lazy bunch of people.

They better hope they have found out what the problem is by the time richard gets off work tomorrow or they are really going to hear it... and its not going to be pretty. I am not even asking for it to be fixed, all they need to really do at the moment is found out whats wrong and give us a quote so we can get the aer loan started before every one goes on leave!!

hmm ok well I think I feel better now, I know richard didnt want to hear it after work lol. To all who read, Thanks for listening to my ranting. I am done now. OTHER THAN THAT..... we are doing good, and richard cant wait for tomorrow to end since he is on leave for 14 days after that. My brother (jason) gets here to stay while richard deploys. He will be here saturday.. YAY! I hope you all are doing good and life is treating you all well. take care.

hot hot hot

Sorry it's been a while, I forget about this. I suppose I better update a little... well hmm ok not much has changed lol.

It is VERY hot here, I think it might be more the humidity that makes it feel sooo hot. We are starting to get more into hurricane season so we are starting to get down poors almost everyday for about 20 minutes or less then it stops.

Our truck finally is biting the dust so tomorrow we are going to go see what we can do about trading it in (YAY), I have been patiently waiting for this day. hehe. I am now baby sitting my neighnor/friends 2 little ones while she works, I told her just to pay me what she can since I am always home anyways. She works 12p-12a mon, wed, fri and every other saturday. They are really good kids and they get bonus points for being so cute. ages 2 and 3!!

I got on prime insurance (extra coverage) and it takes affect on september 1st so that is when I will go down to the ob/gyn and see about fertility treatments.. cross your fingers, we have been trying for soooo long now.

My step brother will be here at the end of the month and will be staying with us till richard gets back from deployment so I have company and so richard has piece of mind knowing I am not here alone.

My first

Hello all,

I recently found out grandma had a blog spot so decided this would be a good way to let everyone know whats going on from time to time.... I can write it and if you are interested you can read it. Well lets see, where to start. Hmm, well my husband of 2.5 yrs joined the army in august '09 and we are now living in Savannah, GA. it is very beautiful here!! I am really enjoying the beach and somewhat enjoying the HOT weather and humidity. No children yet, we have not been trying to stop it, it just hasn't happened... hope it does soon. Richard deploys to Iraq at the beginning of January 2010 for 12 months. I will be staying here since I have made some really good friends and I was just informed that my step brother Jason is willing to come stay with me (as long as he gets a job) while my husband is gone... it will do him some good to get away from his old friends.

We are doing very well. Richard and I have a very strong relationship and I wouldnt have it any other way.. well if I could change one thing it would be that he never had to deploy..but that isn't in my power. I know almost no one on the Danes side has met him accept grandma and grandpa and I hope one day he will get to meet most of everyone. I guess that's it for now, I tend to blab on and on like my father :) until next time. ~nitasha aka ninners
